Police in Metsamor Identify Suspect Who Broke Man's Jaw; Arrested
On May 30, a 66-year-old man was hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center with a diagnosed jaw fracture. A criminal case was initiated on charges of intentionally causing serious bodily harm.
Through operational investigative measures and investigative actions, it was determined that the man sustained his injury in the Aygeghorts quarter of Metsamor. During a dispute, an unknown individual struck him in the face with a fist.
Efforts by the Metsamor police to reveal the crime yielded results on October 2. According to the obtained information, the injury was inflicted by a 55-year-old resident of Metsamor.
The suspect was located, taken to the police station, presented to the body conducting the preliminary investigation, and subsequently arrested. The circumstances are being clarified. The preliminary investigation continues.
