9-Month-Old Child Hospitalized in Critical Condition After Vaccination
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a 9-month-old boy was transferred to the Arabkir Medical Center in Yerevan today due to a critical diagnosis. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the child's parents, whose identities are not being disclosed at this time, reside in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan.
The couple took their child for vaccination, and two days later the child began to experience high fever. On the fourth day, the child was transferred to the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, where there was no positive change in the child’s health.
Seeing the poor handling of the child’s health issues at St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, the parents moved the child to the Arabkir Medical Center on their own. As of today, October 2, there is still no diagnosis.
The child's parent stated in an interview with photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, “In the Arabkir Medical Center, 90 percent of the children have the same issue, with the first symptoms being high fever, and liquid and swelling in the lungs and chest. There are cases where the kidneys are not functioning. The parents of the 9-month-old boy want to understand why, after vaccination with the praised drug of Health Minister Arsen Torosyan, their child fell ill, which is not just their issue but many others as well.”
