No casualties reported from fires

On October 2, at 13:40, the emergency service "911" received a report that a haystack was burning in the village of Antaramaj, Gegharkunik Marz. A firefighting unit from the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched one fire engine to the scene.

The fire was contained by 16:25 and completely extinguished by 17:50. In the yard of one of the houses on 7th Street in Antaramaj village, 12 tons of stored animal feed were burned.

Furthermore, rescuers also received a report regarding a fire breaking out on the roof of an animal barn adjacent to Building 1 on Teryan Street in the city of Kapan, Syunik Marz. Two firefighting units from the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the location.

The fire was contained by 15:58 and extinguished by 16:57. The roof of the barn (approximately 42 square meters) was damaged.
