There Is Nothing Personal, The Disagreements Are Political: Romanos Petrosyan
I have always said that there is nothing personal; the disagreements are political. This was stated by Kotayk Governor Romanos Petrosyan during a conversation with reporters, responding to Tert.am's observation about his discussions with Sasun Mikayelyan and Abovyan Mayor Vahagn Gevorgyan regarding whether the disagreements are in the past.
"Political disagreements and assessments remain valid as long as new facts have not emerged or new behaviors have not appeared, and this does not prevent us from having personal interactions at such a significant event, as we are specifically guided by the benefit of our country, in this case, the high preparedness of the army. In this context, there can be no personalized relationship with anyone," he stated.
When asked if there is any news regarding the investigation into the arson of the vehicle belonging to a representative of the Civil Contract party's candidate for the Abovyan Mayor's office, and whether the party is being diligent about this matter, Petrosyan responded that they are indeed being diligent.
"As the current governor and a representative of the Civil Contract party, I am also personally interested in keeping that case in my daily attention. The case is currently still with the investigative committee. I know that several dozen interrogations have already taken place, but I do not have information about the status of assigning status or involving suspects in the case," he noted, adding that the case is being delayed.
