Video: Journalist from Voice of America Arrested in Baku

This morning in Baku, police arrested Taptig Guliyev, a journalist from the local bureau of the American media outlet Voice of America, while he was covering a protest.

Prior to the arrest, the police confiscated the journalist's camera, microphone, and other belongings. The incident occurred in front of the Prosecutor General's Office for Serious Crimes.

At that location, the journalist was reporting on a protest held by the parents of individuals detained after last year's unrest in Ganja.

After the arrest, while taking him away in a vehicle, police also seized his mobile phone.
