Three School Directors in Yerevan Dismissed by Mayor's Decision
Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan signed decisions on September 17 and 18, dismissing the directors of three schools in the city: School No. 174, School No. 134, and School No. 181.
The decisions state, in particular: “Guided by the second point of the first part of Article 109 of the Labor Code, as well as the first and second parts of Article 111, and based on subsection ‘a’ of point 4.1 of Chapter 4 of the employment contract signed with N. Danielyan on September 17, 2014:
1. Naira Rudolfi Danielyan is dismissed from the position of director of the state non-commercial organization 'Yerevan School No. 174', effective September 18, 2019, and her employment contract signed on September 17, 2014, is terminated.
“Guided by the same articles and based on the employment contract signed with G. Azatyan on September 17, 2014:
1. Goharik Rubiki Azatyan is dismissed from the position of director of the state non-commercial organization 'Yerevan School No. 134', effective September 18, 2019, and her employment contract signed on September 17, 2014, is also terminated.
“Similarly, guided by the same laws and based on the employment contract signed with L. Areyan on September 17, 2014:
1. Lilit Dereviki Areyan is dismissed from the position of director of the state non-commercial organization 'Yerevan School No. 181', effective September 18, 2019, with the termination of her employment contract signed on September 17, 2014.
It should be noted that school directors are elected for a term of five years. In all three cases mentioned above, the terms of the directors’ tenures have effectively expired.
