This was stated by renowned Russian journalist Vladimir Pozner in an interview with the publication "Жам." According to Pozner, people want to tell the Prime Minister what he wants to hear. He pointed out that people perceive flattery in different ways: "Some are resilient to flattery, while others are not. But even the most resilient, if they govern a country for a long time and are constantly inspired to believe they are geniuses, eventually begin to believe it," said Vladimir Pozner.
