The Tumor Must Be Removed: Mikhail Minasian on Nikol Pashinyan

Mikhail Minasian wrote on his Facebook page: “Why does he hate everything and everyone so much? He hates and destroys: he hates those who are loved, admired, and respected, he hates the successful and the independent. He hates the heroes of the past and even those he himself has heroized. He hates his past and our future. And it is clear that he is at the center of this hatred: he hates himself.

What happened to him in his distant childhood, that the promising young man turned into the 'Apostle of Hatred'? Yesterday in a speech in the USA, he threatened that he would 'bring the Armenian Apostolic Church to its knees.' The 'Apostle of Hatred' confessed what he has always been writing about, speaking about indirectly, and what he has been clearly doing for the past two years.

The Armenian Apostolic Church has always been attempted to be brought to its knees by Persian, Byzantine, and Arab conquerors, yet they failed. The Seljuks and Mongols also could not succeed. The Turkic-Oghuz and other treacherous enemies have tried, but they failed too, and they will continue to fail. We will not allow it. The knees of those who attempt to bring the Armenian Apostolic Church to its knees will be broken.

He is evil and full of hatred; that is his essence. Beneath the noisy words and 'noble ideas,' it turned out that the most basic malice and underdeveloped personality were concealed. He has always been like this. And people felt whom they were following because he could express the venom and hatred he has sown among us for years, clearly defining the targets of hatred and revenge and leading us down that path.

He is the offspring of our fears and hatred, and he is the one feeding it all. He appeared at the peak of universal disgust and became the 'Apostle of Hatred.' He is sick, and we are not healthy either; he is the 'cancerous' focus that has been gnawing away at our healthy cells from within for many years, and now it has matured and grown so much that we must finally either remove it to heal or perish completely.

The 'Apostle of Hatred' spreads his metastases like a cancerous tumor, and we are all part of it. The patient's diagnosis is clear: 'The tumor must be removed.'
