Winemaking Receives New Quality: Wine Festival Held in Artsakh

The number of participants in each wine festival organized in Artsakh increases year by year, and the high level of organization of the event is also becoming apparent. According to Artsakhpress, this was stated by the RA State Minister Grigori Martirosyan.

During a tour of the pavilions and discussions with winemakers, G. Martirosyan concluded that winemaking in Artsakh is acquiring a new quality. ‘In terms of quality enhancement, we have significant progress: there are all the preconditions in Artsakh for winemakers to export their products abroad. The festival presented quite interesting and quality wines,’ added the State Minister.

The Minister of Culture, Youth Affairs, and Tourism of Artsakh, Lernik Hovhannisyan, who also attended the festival, noted that the event aims not only to showcase winemaking companies but also to promote the non-material heritage of wine culture. According to him, it is very encouraging that the presentation of wine, one of the traditional drinks of the Armenian people, enjoys great demand among the public at large.
