VIDEO: Shaman Wanting to Drive Putin from the Kremlin is in Psychiatry Hospital
Russian law enforcement authorities have detained shaman Alexander Gabyshev in Buryatia. According to the BBC Russian service, he has been walking from Yakutia to Moscow for several months in an effort to drive Russian President Vladimir Putin out of the Kremlin.
Supporters of the shaman claimed that 40-50 masked individuals arrived for his detention. Authorities reported that Gabyshev is wanted for committing a crime.
He began his march in March of this year, covering 2800 km. This is not his first trek to Moscow; last year, the shaman had to interrupt his mission.
Aleksandr Gabyshev has been transferred to Yakutsk and placed in the Yakutsk Republican Psychiatric Dispensary, according to the Yakutsk Ministry of Health. "The citizen will undergo expert procedures," the report states.
The press service of the agency indicated that the psychiatric evaluation would be conducted in a conversational format regarding the person's life and illness. If any disorder is identified, the man will receive medical assistance. "If necessary, social services may be involved," the ministry added.
