Putin Sends Congratulations to Armen Sarkissian

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has received a congratulatory message from the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day.

In his message, Putin stated: "Dear Armen Vardan, I am pleased to congratulate you on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia. The relations between our countries are based on a long-standing tradition of friendship, spiritual closeness, and mutual trust. The further development of allied relations, as well as effective cooperation in various directions, fully meets the interests of the peoples of Armenia and Russia and is in line with strengthening regional security and stability.
