Cars Collide Head-On: Three Out of Ten Injured are Children
On September 20, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan at approximately 22:50 on Hasratyan Street in the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the collision involved a Honda Elysion with license plate 02 MP 101 and a Volkswagen Golf with license plate 34 DZ 563. As a result of the accident, ten individuals were injured, including three children, who were transported to medical facilities. Adults were taken to the Mikaelyan Institute of Surgery, while the children were admitted to the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center, as reported by shamshyan.com.
The website indicated that the first responders were citizens who not only assisted in extracting the injured from the vehicles but also transported nine individuals to hospitals in their personal cars, while one person was taken by an ambulance. This was confirmed by witnesses who aided the victims.
