Expected Wave of Resignations: Who Will Depart?

According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," the parade of resignations will continue in the executive and legislative branches. In the coming days, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, and Defense Minister David Tonoyan are expected to resign, even though the head of the defense ministry has been consistently denying such claims.

Emergency Situations Minister Felix Tsolakyan and Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan are also likely to voluntarily relinquish their ministerial portfolios. Grigoryan has stated that he will step down if Amulsar is developed into a mine. Additionally, there may be resignations in the Finance and Economics Ministries, as well as among the leaders of the State Revenue Committee.

According to "Zhoghovurd," following his visit to the United States, the Prime Minister plans to submit a proposal to the President for dismissing the ministers coordinating the social block of the government. This specifically concerns Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan and Minister of Social Affairs Zaruhhi Batoyan.

Changes are also anticipated in the National Assembly. Lena Nazaryan is expected to submit her resignation, stepping down from her role as Deputy Speaker of Parliament as well. MP Mikhail Zolyan from the "My Step" faction will leave as well, and he will join the newly forming parliamentary group. In the near future, it will become clear which other MPs will join this group.
