83 Criminal Cases Discovered in One Day

According to summarized operational reports from the police, from September 18 to 19, various divisions of the Armenian police uncovered 83 criminal cases, 7 of which were previously committed.

Specifically, the cases included: 15 fraud incidents, 13 cases of personal property theft, 12 instances of causing bodily harm, 8 cases of embezzlement or misappropriation, 5 assaults, 3 each of theft of state-public property and drug discovery, 2 cases of intentional property destruction, hooliganism, discovery of cold weapons, and illegal border crossing, as well as 1 case each of rape or attempted rape, burglary, illegal logging, bribery, abuse of official powers, violence against a representative of authority, forgery, threats of murder, and theft of documents.

A total of 5 persons wanted by law enforcement were discovered, and 1 voluntarily presented themselves. Among the previously committed crimes, cases of personal property theft accounted for 4, and there was 1 case each of attempted murder, burglary, and causing bodily harm.

In the past day, 16 traffic accidents were registered across the republic, resulting in various degrees of bodily harm to 23 individuals.
