VIDEO: Poroshenko Falls Asleep During Parliamentary Session

Former Ukrainian parliamentary deputy Oleksandr Onyschenko has published a video on Facebook, allegedly showing former President Petro Poroshenko sleeping during a session of the Verkhovna Rada.

The video has become a source of ridicule on Facebook. It shows the former leader sitting with his eyes closed during the parliamentary meeting. At one point, Poroshenko opens his eyes, only for them to close again shortly afterwards.

Onyschenko shared the video with the caption: “The state is asleep. He can’t find rest, as he thinks day and night about how to deter the aggressor.”

This is not the first instance of mockery directed at Poroshenko. In January, another photo of him standing in a somewhat “unorthodox” position in a suit sparked intense discussions online.
