Individual Who Fired Shots Taken Into Custody in Charbakh

On September 17, officers from the Shengavit division of the police in Charbakh acted on operational information and apprehended a 37-year-old resident of 37 Timiryazev Street in Yerevan. According to the police, he confessed that on September 16, shortly after midnight, he discharged his firearm, a type of "VEPAR 12" automatic rifle, twice in the air while under the influence of alcohol near his home.

The apprehended man presented the automatic rifle. A forensic examination has been ordered, and materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
