Politician Stepan Safaryan Robbed in Yerevan

On September 6, in Yerevan, Stepan Safaryan, the 46-year-old founder and head of the Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs, was robbed.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, at approximately 10:50 PM, two unknown individuals approached him near the entrance of his apartment. One of them pushed him from behind, while the other clearly stole his 'iPhone 8' mobile phone and fled the scene.

Following Safaryan's alarm call, the operational group of the Nor Nork police department arrived at the scene, headed by Deputy Chief Poghosyan. The senior investigator Navsardyan from the same department is preparing materials regarding the incident.
