Emergency Doctor Claims No One from '911' Was Present at the Site Where a 2.5-Year-Old Fell from the 6th Floor

Upon arrival, the ambulance found no rescuers at the scene. This information was shared with NEWS.am by Artush Karapetyan, the doctor from the ambulance brigade 01, who transported the 2.5-year-old child that fell from the 6th floor of the building located at 32 Tumanyan Street to the 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center.

“Today, between 10:33 and 10:50, I provided medical assistance and transported the 2.5-year-old child who fell from the 6th floor to the 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center, as no one was present there. The ambulance arrived four minutes later and handled the situation for about 4-5 minutes during which no one else was there. We transferred the child to the 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center. No one from '911' was there; they explained that they had a call at a nearby address,” he noted.

The doctor added that '911' had promised to rectify the report.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on September 5, at 10:32, a call was received by '911' indicating that a 2.5-year-old child had been observed in the yard of the building at 32 Tumanyan Street, who, according to preliminary information, had fallen from the 6th floor of that building, and that rescuers' assistance was needed. Rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's crisis management center, psychological support division, and one firefighting unit were dispatched to the scene.
