Manvel Grigoryan's Daughter on Brother's Gunshots: 'If It Concerns Me, I Will Be Interested'

As previously reported, gunshots were heard yesterday in the administrative territory of the village of Arshaluis. Police have determined that the received operational information was accurate, and a dispute occurred over a right-of-way issue between 30-year-old Koryun Kh. from the Ararat region and 26-year-old Ara G. from the city of Ejmiadzin. During the argument, Ara G. pointed his firearm at Koryun Kh. and fired shots. Ara Grigoryan is the son of Manvel Grigoryan.

In connection with the incident, ArmDaily.am sought clarification from Manvel Grigoryan's daughter, judge Naira Grigoryan, who stated, “To be honest, I am not aware of anything; I am at work right now.” When asked if she felt disturbed by hearing such news, Grigoryan responded, “If it concerns me, I will be interested; let’s say I said I was disturbed, what would you do?”

It is noted that materials are being prepared by the senior investigator of the Vagharshapat division of the police, Paylak Shmavonyan. Ara G. has been released on a signature.
