Charges Filed Against Manager, Chef, and Assistant Chef of Gyumri's 'Dvin' Restaurant

Charges have been filed against the manager, chef, and assistant chef of the 'Dvin' restaurant complex in Gyumri in connection with a case of food poisoning reported at the establishment. They are accused of committing crimes under Article 279, Part 2, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. This information was provided by the Public Relations Department of the Armenian Prosecutor's Office.

Article 279 of the Criminal Code is titled "Production or Sale of Goods Not Complying with Safety Requirements, or Performing Works or Providing Services," with Clause 2 stating that harm was caused carelessly to the health of two or more individuals.

It is noteworthy that after an event held at the Gyumri restaurant, 46 citizens (including 9 minors) were hospitalized as of 7:50 AM on August 31. Following appropriate medical intervention, they have since been discharged from the hospital.
