Armen Sarkissian Awards State Honors to Emergency Situations Employees

The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has signed a decree to confer state awards on the occasion of Emergency Workers Day.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, Part 1 of the Law on State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Armenia, a number of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia are awarded for their courage and dedication exhibited during service on the occasion of Emergency Workers Day:

• With the Medal for Services Rendered to the Homeland, 2nd Class: Artak Janibekian, Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel of the Rescue Service.
• Serob Sanasari Gabrielyan, Head of the Lori Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel of the Rescue Service.
• With the Gratitude Medal: Vahe Suriki Hovhannisyan, Commander of the Meghri Fire and Rescue Team of the Syunik Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Captain of the Rescue Service.
• Georgi Sargisi Mkhitaryan, Mountain Rescue-Descent of the Special Rescue Operations Implementation Center of the Rescue Forces Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Senior Sergeant of the Rescue Service.
