22-Year-Old Armenian Man Killed in Chelyabinsk
A 22-year-old businessman named David Khudoyan was murdered in the city of Zlatoust, Chelyabinsk region, on the night of September 2, according to chel.kp.ru.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under the article of "murder." A statement from the investigative office noted, "Currently, investigators are conducting a number of actions aimed at detaining persons involved in the crime. The investigation into the criminal case is ongoing."
The young man was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, but efforts to save his life were unsuccessful. According to "Komsomolskaya Pravda: Chelyabinsk," at the time of the murder, David Khudoyan was with two friends, one of whom had a firearm, leading to the possibility that the young man was shot accidentally.
It has been highlighted that the Khudoyan family is well known in Zlatoust. David has several brothers. Residents of Zlatoust have reported that after returning home from military service, David was involved in business with his relatives, focusing on construction and bakery services.
