Former Son-in-Law Stabs Father-in-Law
On August 30, around 11 PM, the Ararat police department received a report from a hospital that a 70-year-old resident of the village of Pkokh Vedi had been brought in with stab wounds to various parts of his body.
An operational group dispatched to the scene discovered that earlier that day, at approximately 10:30 PM, a quarrel over domestic issues had erupted near an apricot orchard at the beginning of the village. During this altercation, the 44-year-old former son-in-law of the victim, who resides in the same village, inflicted knife wounds on the 70-year-old man.
On August 31, shortly after midnight, the suspect was taken into custody by the Ararat police department. A verbal report was taken from the victim, and the knife has been confiscated. Investigations are underway.
