15 Hectares of Grassland Burned in Hatsavan Village Fields Overnight, Fire Quelled

On August 30, at 21:49, the emergency hotline 911 received a report that grassland was burning in the fields of Hatsavan village in the Kotayk region.

Firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Ministry of Yerevan and regional rescue administrations were dispatched to the scene, along with an emergency response team from the National Center for Crisis Management.

According to preliminary information, as of 23:36 approximately 30 hectares of grassland were on fire. The fire was contained by 23:31 and extinguished by 23:50.

Approximately 15 hectares of grassland were burned in the incident.
