Clash Between Environmentalists Opposing Amulsar Mine and Residents of Gndevaz
A clash took place in the Gndevaz community of Vayots Dzor Province on the night of August 24 between environmentalists fighting against the exploitation of the Amulsar mine and local residents.
The information was confirmed to NEWS.am by the police. As a result of the scuffle, two individuals with injuries were transported to the 'Vayk' Medical Center.
A criminal case has been initiated on charges of hooliganism, and one person has been arrested.
