Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen Highway Closed for Freight Trucks

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of August 24th, 08:00 AM, the highways in the Republic of Armenia are passable.

Regarding the Lars route, according to information from the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.

Construction works are currently ongoing on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, causing the section to be closed for freight trucks. An alternative route has been established: Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.
