Armed Robbery in Yerevan: 20 Thousand Dollars Stolen from Hydro-electromontage Company Executive

On August 21, a significant theft occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, based on its sources, at around 09:30, the Shengavit division of the police received a call alerting them to a robbery that took place between 17:00 on August 20 and 09:00 on August 21.

An unknown individual or individuals, taking advantage of an open window on the second floor of the Hydro-electromontage Company building located at 4th Lane, Ararat Street, broke into the commercial manager's office. They threw out a non-flammable safe from within the office and managed to steal 20 thousand US dollars.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Sources indicate that the theft was reported to the police by Ruben Khangoian, a resident of the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan and the commercial director of the company.

The police and the investigative division are carrying out necessary operational and investigative joint actions to uncover the crime, identify the perpetrator or perpetrators, and recover the stolen funds.
