Major Fire at Vega Electronics Store

A fire has erupted at the Vega Electronics store. Several fire units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are on-site.

On August 24, at 3:47 PM, the '911' service received a call reporting that a fire had broken out in the building of 'Malatia Mall' located on Sebastia Street in Yerevan, with casualties reported.

In response to the incident, a 'Level 2' alarm was issued, and six fire units, two aerial ladders, a special firefighting team from the Rescue Service of the Yerevan Administration, and psychological support personnel from the National Crisis Management Center were dispatched to the scene.

At 4:35 PM, the complexity level of the fire was raised to 'Level 3,' prompting the dispatch of four additional fire units from the Rescue Service.
