Each event held in the National Assembly area can be organized with the knowledge of the NA President and the approval of the head of the security service
Today, a scuffle occurred between concerned citizens regarding the protection of Amulsar and the police in front of the National Assembly. The police formed a barrier and did not allow the gathered crowd to enter the park of the National Assembly.
The citizens declared that they were coming to the NA park to hold a public discussion. However, as they were denied entry into the park area, the gathered citizens chanted, "Open the park!" The police justified blocking the entrance to the park by citing the need to maintain security regulations.
In this regard, a statement was recently issued by the NA, stating that any event organized in the National Assembly area—such as a legally sanctioned gathering, protest action, filming of movies and videos, concerts, etc.—can only be carried out with the knowledge of the NA President, with the permission of the chief of staff and the approval of the head of the security service.
