Sand Transporting KamAZ Overturns on Ejmiatsin-Ashtarak Highway

Today, at around 14:50 in the Armavir region, 26-year-old Ashot Samsonyan was driving a KamAZ 55111 vehicle transporting sand when, under yet-to-be-determined circumstances, he lost control of the vehicle on the 4th kilometer of the Ejmiatsin-Ashtarak highway, causing it to overturn. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the medical team from Vagharsapat Hospital arrived promptly at the scene and provided assistance to the driver and the passenger, both of whom declined to be taken to the hospital, stating that they felt fine.

At the scene, the driver told the road police and investigator that a green Lada had created a hazardous situation for him, which caused the accident.
