Two Young Men Stabbed Near Sochi Palace Hotel Complex in Jrvezh Transported to Hospital

Today, on August 17, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 03:15, the police received a call from the ‘Saint Gregory the Illuminator’ medical center reporting that a team of emergency medical technicians had transported two individuals with stab wounds to the hospital.

Police and investigators determined that the victims were 29-year-old Robert Andranikyan and 28-year-old Gevorg Simonyan, residents of the Jrvezh neighborhood of Yerevan.

Authorities clarified that the individuals were transported from the area near the “Sochi Palace” hotel and restaurant complex on Kochinyan Street in Jrvezh. Upon arriving at the hotel complex, police and investigators discovered an unregistered Hyundai Sonata vehicle that had collided with a KamAZ truck nearby.

Law enforcement suspects that the aforementioned Hyundai may be connected to the stabbing incident. Additionally, officers found a broken window, damaged belongings, and a damaged remotely operated gate at the hotel complex.
