Hyundai Sonata Falls into Drainage Ditch on Vedi-Lanjarr Highway; Injuries Reported

On August 18, at 04:42 AM, the 911 emergency service received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Vedi-Lanjarr highway, indicating that there were injuries and that rescue assistance was needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informed that a firefighting-rescue team from the regional emergency department was dispatched to the scene.

It has been determined that at the 30th kilometer of the Vedi-Lanjarr highway, a Hyundai Sonata sedan (driver: Vardan B., born in 1982) deviated from the driving lane and fell into a drainage ditch, resulting in the hospitalization of the driver and a passenger, Olga G. (born in 1988), at the Vedi Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as moderately severe.

The rescuers have disconnected the vehicle from the power supply.
