No Additional Liters of Fuel Allocated to Aragatsotn Governor: Clarification

The visit of Aragatsotn Governor Davit Gevorgyan to Artsakh has been organized with minimal resources. This clarification was released by the Aragatsotn Regional Administration in response to a publication in the 'Haykakan Zhamanak' newspaper.

The statement specifically notes: “To participate in the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Games, athletes from the communities of Ashtarak, Aparan, Talin, Aragatsavan, and Tsaghkadzor have departed for Artsakh, along with their delegations. Only one bus with participants from the Ashtarak community and three minivans with participants from Aparan, Aragatsavan, and Tsaghkadzor traveled to Artsakh, not 7-8 buses that were half-empty as previously reported. The mentioned vehicles were fully occupied without any free seats (these also transported sports outfits, bicycles, and other sporting equipment for the athletes). The trip of the Talin community to Artsakh was organized separately and on a different schedule as per the decision of the organizing committee of the Pan-Armenian Games.

Organizational tasks for the Pan-Armenian Games have been carried out by all regional administrations under the direct coordination of the governors, and it would have been quite peculiar for the governor not to be part of the regional delegation. It is important to note that no additional liters of fuel have been allocated to the Aragatsotn governor for the visit, and he has received the fuel entitled for August. The governor's trip to the Republic of Artsakh has been organized with the minimum possible expenses. Therefore, it can be concluded that the trip was not 'expensive' in nature.
