Shooting in Malatia-Sebastia: Family Members Involved in Altercation

On the evening of August 11, gunshots were heard on Shahumyan Street in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan. According to Sputnik Armenia, a dispute broke out initially between family members, including a husband, his wife, and their son.

Some individuals arrived at the scene in vehicles and called the family members outside their home, which escalated into a heated argument filled with insults. Shortly after, one of the participants fired several shots into the air with a handgun that he possessed. Concerned neighbors alerted the police.

The law enforcement authorities have identified all participants in the incident, including the shooter. All individuals involved have been taken into custody. The details of the incident are currently under investigation.
