Eight Firefighting Units Respond to Grass Fire on Gevorg Hovsepyan Street in Yerevan

The Emergency Situations Ministry's ‘911’ Service received a call on August 11 at 1:43 PM reporting a grass fire near the ‘Panorama Yerevan Resort’ hotel complex on Gevorg Hovsepyan Street in Yerevan.

Four firefighting units were dispatched to the scene with a complexity rating of ‘1-Bis,’ along with operational teams from the National Crisis Management Center. According to information from the public relations department of the Emergency Situations Ministry, at 2:55 PM, an additional four firefighting units from the Ministry's rescue service were sent to the scene in response to a ‘Complexity 2’ call, together with an on-duty doctor from the Disaster Medicine Center.
