Forest Fire in Meghri Region Contained

The Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, Erik Grigoryan, announced on his Facebook page that the forest fire in the Meghri region has been contained thanks to the coordination of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the close cooperation of state and community structures.

It is worth noting that the Deputy Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Vrej Gabrielyan, provided details about the fire that broke out near the Vardabni Gorge in the Meghri region during a conversation with journalists today.

According to him, the fire in the Meghri region likely originated from an area adjacent to the road.
