Pobeda Suspends Flights to Armenia Due to Fuel Undercounting in Gyumri
Pobeda low-cost airline is suspending flights to Gyumri (Armenia) for the winter season. This was reported to TASS by a source within the airline. According to the source, the decision to suspend flights is related to the regular under-fueling at Gyumri Airport.
“Unfortunately, the fuel supply company at Gyumri Airport regularly performs under-fueling. Pobeda has repeatedly approached the airport management to clarify the situation. However, the airport's measures have been insufficient, and the fuel supplier continues the under-fueling practices. Pobeda will operate its scheduled flights to Gyumri until the end of the summer season, so as not to put its customers in a difficult situation, but ticket sales for this route have been suspended for the winter season,” the source stated.
The company’s official representative has confirmed that ticket sales have been halted.
