Senior Investigator of the Traffic Police Helps Driver of a Broken Gazelle
Yesterday, August 5, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At the intersection of Argishti and Grigor Lusavorich streets, a passenger Gazelle temporarily broke down, which resulted in uncontrollable traffic in the area during peak hours, as people described it, paralyzing the traffic.
According to shamshyan.com, while the driver of the broken-down vehicle was trying to call the operational management center of the Yerevan Traffic Police and the line owner, a citizen safely pushed the Gazelle to a secure location, for which not a single driver attempted to help. Likely, other drivers saw that the person pushing the vehicle was a robust, healthy man.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, this citizen turned out to be Grigor Kirakosyan, a senior investigator of the Road Traffic Accident Investigation and Administrative Procedures Division of the Traffic Police, who, while off duty, extended a helping hand to the driver of the malfunctioning Gazelle.
