Don Pippo Denies Charges as First Court Session on Kidnapping Case Begins

The first court session on the case of Arthur Asatryan, known as Don Pippo, started at the Armavir Regional Court under the chairmanship of Judge Hrachik Sargsyan.

According to a reporter from NEWS.am, Don Pippo attended the court session. Victims of this case were also brought to the court, currently in custody for another criminal case.

According to the indictment, Arthur Asatryan organized and led a group of individuals on May 20, 2017, with prior agreement, using items categorized as weapons to kidnap three individuals—Vazgen Ghazakhertsyan, Artak Aivazyan, and Arkadi Kochinyan—accompanied by violent acts endangering the health of the latter two.
