‘Joghvorud’. Several MPs from ‘My Step’ Meet with Hayk Marutyan in Closed Format

‘Joghvorud’ newspaper reports that a group of MPs from the ‘My Step’ faction went to the Yerevan Municipality for a meeting with Hayk Marutyan.

We learned that the format of the meeting was ‘closed’, initiated by the members of ‘My Step’. The ruling party MPs sought to clarify issues that are currently troubling Yerevan residents.

However, whenever any critical comments or dissatisfaction were expressed, Mayor Hayk Marutyan dismissed them, assuring that the operational capability and efficiency with which the municipality works is simply unimaginable and that it is impossible to do more under the current legislative conditions.

‘Joghvorud’ learned that among those present at the meeting was MP Mari Galstyan, who stated in an interview with us, “We simply tried to understand the legislative-municipal cooperation and how we can effectively organize solutions within the legislative framework.”
