My father does not send political messages through me

The son of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharian, Levon Kocharian, believes that the court made a lawful decision today, which revealed the sloppy work of the investigator and prosecutors. He stated this during a conversation with reporters.

“A year ago, we raised this issue, and people didn’t quite understand what we were talking about. We are satisfied with the court's decision, but we will be fully satisfied when all the violations that have occurred over this past year are rectified. The court's decision made clear the sloppy work of the investigator and prosecutors,” he said.

He also noted that the court had made several violations, including imposing restrictions on the accounts of him and his brother, Sedrak Kocharian. After filing an appeal, the restriction on Levon Kocharian's account was lifted.

“The restriction on my account was placed on October 20, 2018. They said they didn’t believe that what you have is yours,” stated Levon Kocharian.

When asked about Robert Kocharian's statement during today's court session that he had been deprived of the opportunity to cover court and utility expenses, and that he had to seek help from others, Levon Kocharian responded that it pertains to family members, and the court costs were also covered from their savings. According to Kocharian's son, they do not have financial issues.

Levon Kocharian also stated that he visits his father once a week, but he does not send political messages through him.

It is noted that today the Court of Appeals of Armenia rejected the appeal of the Prosecutor's Office regarding the seizure of Robert Kocharian's property.
