Member of the Public Council adjunct to the Chief of Police Sergey Ghahramanyan wrote on his Facebook page: “On Sunday, I informed the Prime Minister about such cases. I said, we know that such things happen ALL THE TIME, but what is being done to prevent them? Nothing. The Ministry of Defense has completely washed its hands, throwing everything onto the police without any response. What should have been done, two options: 1. Authoritarian (CORRECT approach), take Spetsnaz and arrest everyone one by one in departments + VERY QUICKLY pass a law, and confiscate these vehicles, or equivalent amounts to be deposited into the state budget within 2 days. 2. Populist - do nothing.”
