You are not our Debudada, you are protecting Indians. Sisak Gabrielyan
Armenia's National Assembly 'My Step' faction member Sisak Gabrielyan wrote on his Facebook page,
"DO NOT BE INDIFFERENT. Creating an emergency situation, I abruptly braked, as a group attacked two Indian boys on the sidewalk. They were drunk. With a few sentences, as he said ‘20 years of clumsiness’ was thrown onto the asphalt. The response was not encouraging... ‘Oh, you are not our Debudada, are you defending the Indians?’
What happened next, I'd prefer not to say. I helped the Indian boys and apologized, trying to explain in a mix of Armenian and English, that this is not how we behave. I don't know, maybe they believed me, as they had just arrived.
However, what angered me more in this story was the zero reaction of the people waiting for a bus at the station... ‘Well, they are not pulling our hair, why should we interfere?’
