Collision Between Opel and VAZ 21-06 in Tavush Province Leaves 4 Injured
On July 20, a severe car accident occurred in Tavush Province. According to reports from Shamshyan.com, around 1:30 PM, vehicles collided at an intersection on the road leading to the village of Khashtarak.
The cars involved were a VAZ-2106 with registration number 57 TL 801, driven by 61-year-old P.A., a resident of the same village, and an Opel with registration number 35 GN 976, driven by 28-year-old D.A., a resident of the village of Azatamut.
Photographer Gagik Shamshyan reports that as a result of the accident, both drivers, along with a passenger from the VAZ, 33-year-old N.A. from Khashtarak, and a passenger from the Opel, 16-year-old A.E. from Azatamut, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Ijevan Medical Center.
Officers from the 2nd Troop of the 4th Division of the Road Police, led by troop commander Edgar Suslyan and platoon commander Karen Abazyan, arrived at the scene. The investigation at the site was directed by investigator Isakhanyan from the same division, who is preparing materials on the incident.
It was reported that the vehicles were severely damaged.
