Businesses Struggle to Find Workers: Prime Minister on Those Seeking Assistance

In the Shirak region, we have witnessed numerous cases where businesses are unable to find employees, while some able-bodied individuals are vociferously demanding humanitarian aid from anyone in a suit and tie. This was noted by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a post on his Facebook page.

“We are exempting micro-businesses from taxes, taking care of the essential healthcare needs of those under 18, socially vulnerable individuals, and families of service members on contract. Soon, we will transform the family benefit system so that families with children will not be deprived of benefits and will have the opportunity to work and generate income. We are implementing dozens of preferential lending programs, ensuring that no student will drop out of university due to tuition fees. We are ready to fulfill all state obligations to the residents of disaster-hit areas. Other concerns should be managed by each family through their legal work. And there is work in Armenia. It is possible to create jobs in Armenia. There is no other way to create welfare beyond work. Everyone who suggests otherwise is trying to keep our people in the hope of a few corrupt individuals’ pre-electoral promises.

By the way, a person who receives a competitive education lives well in Armenia and should live even better. Let’s encourage our children towards competitive education, self-improvement, self-criticism, and creativity. This is the simple formula for living well,” the Prime Minister wrote.
