VIDEO: Poor Quality Patching Replaced with New Asphalt at Municipality's Request

The spokesperson for the Municipality, Hakob Karapetyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "A few days ago, a novice organization that won the bid conducted patching works on Arshakunyan Street. Due to the poor quality of the materials used, the existing asphalt was damaged as a result of contact with vehicle tires. As the saying goes, they were trying to patch up a place that was already broken.

Following discussions with municipal officials, fresh asphalt is now being laid in the areas where patching was supposed to occur, at the expense of the patching company. (The videos show the process from last evening and tonight.)
