Updated Information on the Fire Outbreak in Victory Park Area

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has reported new information regarding the fire that broke out in the area of Victory Park.

“On July 19 at 19:14, the '911' service received a call that grassland was burning near Saralanj Street, close to Victory Park in Yerevan. A fire-and-rescue crew from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene. At 19:29, a '1-BIS' level of fire complexity was declared, prompting three additional fire crews from the Fire and Rescue Department and an emergency response team from the National Crisis Management Center to proceed to the scene. Another fire crew and a water carrier from the city hall were also deployed. Further information will be provided,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
