It Would Be Bad If Nikol Allowed Trees to Be Cut Down Just to Be Praised: A. Sargsyan

Aram Sargsyan, the head of the Republic party, commented on the recent developments in Tavush on his Facebook page, expressing that he feels everyone knows how to create jobs in Ijevan, except for the Ijevan Prime Minister.

"A forest is not just trees, especially since you did not plant that tree. You can maintain life in a forest, and you can extract its products by preserving eco-friendly mushrooms, fruits, and seeds, as well as producing high-quality and expensive spirits and engaging in business. No, cutting down trees is easy and profitable, but it is theft. I feel like everyone knows how to create jobs in Ijevan, except for the Ijevan Prime Minister,” he stated.

“P.S. It would be very bad if Nikol, being a good man, allowed for trees to be cut down merely to receive praise, just as before, and have toasts made for him... My dear brothers who support families by cutting down trees, the forest also belongs to your children and grandchildren. I am convinced that with a little more thought and effort, you could both support your families and preserve the forest. And you would live better than now; most importantly, you would not depend on anyone and would owe nothing to anyone. And you will always have a forest around you.”
