Instead of idly lounging around, focus on self-education this summer, you are embarrassing the people – Pashinyan's directive
According to the "Fact" newspaper, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has instructed the ruling My Step faction in the National Assembly to use their summer vacation time not for idly lounging around but for self-education. Specifically, he urged them to work on themselves by regularly reading laws and engaging in legislative initiatives.
Naturally, Pashinyan has outlined the general themes they should focus on and advised them to remain within the established boundaries of their activities. Reports indicate that he expressed dissatisfaction with several permanent committees in the National Assembly led by representatives of the ruling power. Sources suggest that he implied they are "embarrassing the people; look at the other committees, what substantive and serious meetings they are conducting, and they are even inviting external experts."
