Fire in the Monument Park

A fire broke out in the Monument Park moments ago. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported that at 19:14, the "911" service received a call indicating that an area covered with grass was burning near Saralanj Street in Yerevan, close to Victory Park.

A firefighting team from the MES was dispatched to the scene. At 19:29, the fire was classified as complexity level "1-BIS", prompting the dispatch of three additional firefighting teams and an emergency response group from the National Crisis Management Center.
